GAME OVER art show at Giant Robot!
Here’s my contribution to the Game Over video game-themed art show taking place at Giant Robot’s GR2 next month, from June 2 - June 27 (2063 Sawtelle Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90035).
Though I’ve played through a few games in my day, this time I chose not to go the fan-art route (though that would have been fun, also!), but to try and illustrate the cozy feeling of being in PJs - snacks, drinks, weapons and power-ups at the ready, getting lost in a tangle of cords though OF COURSE we have newfangled wireless gadgets now.

Oh my goodness. If you are in the Dayton area, DO stop into Mace Mead Works if you’re into drinking fantastic wine. Their mead and reds are made in small batches, feature beautifully designed labels, and are super yummy. I’m kicking myself for not taking photos of their newly released syrah (the ghost) and carménère – both dead tasty and pinned with hand-pulled printed labels. Soon!!
