For the next couple of months I have some prints up at the Coffee Drop Cafe, 4915 25th
Avenue Northeast #100w, in the University District, Seattle. They just moved to this brand new location, so I can proudly say I’m the first to hang on these beautiful blue walls!

Barnstorm: the Cabaret Reimagined
I’m proud to say that I’ll be participating in a new arts event in Seattle called Barnstorm (barnstormcabaret.org).
[ Barnstorm is a lively gathering place – designed specially for contemporary artists and provocateurs – destined to open its doors in downtown Seattle in May 2011. Channeling the original European cabarets of the late nineteenth century, Barnstorm will transform an empty warehouse space into a cozy home for diverse performance and installation works that challenge social and cultural conventions. ]
Barnstorm launches
- May 5-7 from 6 p.m. – 2 a.m.
- at 1927 Third Avenue
- in a volunteer-built, brand-new arts venue in the city of Seattle.
- · Become a fan of Barnstorm on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Barnstorm-The-Cabaret-Re-Imagined/195585340458262
- · Mark your attendance on the Barnstorm Event Page: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=116054661807492
I’ll be hanging a number of large, original, raunchy drawings, and will be showing alongside a number of fun performance pieces and musical works. Being a three-day event, 6pm-2am each day, with only a $5 cover, what sounds to be a somewhat unpredictable and spontaneous art scene – how can you resist? If you live in the Seattle area, please come by – I think it’ll be fun.
Oh, and apparently they have a bar, too, for you alcoholics.
