Queen of Arts – a recap

Woo! Just got back from Denver for the all-girl-art-show hosted by Denver’s 1.21 Jiggawatts, with pictures! Mostly, my time was spent walking, people watching, prepping for the show and marinating in my own sweat (so glad to be back to Seattle weather).

If you missed it, the artwork will be up at 1436 Tremont for the whole month.

Kaitlee Venable brought her series of nudes, some octopi and some great intersex pieces. She has an etsy store and fascinating blog: do look into them!

Corina Espinosa, Jill-of-all-trades, showed off an impressive collection of paintings, clay masks and finely crafted wooden sculptures for example… OH MY GOD LOOK AT THIS THING:

Luckily all of my shipped drawings arrived intact and happened to fit the space perfectly.

Booth, my best friend for the weekend.
